Healing Through Connection and Creativity

Hillary Carter-Liggett (she | any | all)

My interest in the healing ability of relationships began in 2003 when I lived and worked with teens in a boarding school setting. Since then, I have worked with youth and adults of all ages dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, strengthening a sense of self and perspective, family issues, substance abuse, and more.

I am BIPOC-, neurodiversity-, and LGBTQIA-affirming. While I operate from the lens of a white cis woman, I embrace the fundamental value of diversity of experience. I work to acknowledge blind spots and privilege to create a space that is safe for my clients. You are welcome here.

I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.
